With reference to your despatch No.307 of the

25th. November last, I have the honour to inform you that a vote

for the equivalent of £250 has been passed by the Legislative

Council in aid of the establishment of a School of Tropical

Medicine in London, and that provision will be made for a like

contribution in the next year's Estimates.

I request that the money may be paid by the

Crown Agents and the amount debited to this Colony.
